The LG G8 ThinQ is tipped to launch at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in two weeks, but we’ve previously seen a few leaks and nuggets of information. The newest leak, however, may have given us a look at the flagship’s recommended sell price.
A redditor claimed that pricing for the LG G8 ThinQ appeared in their inventory system (h/t: Slash Info). The user also provided a picture of the listing, showing the LG phone at 1,199.99 Canadian dollars (~$903).

The listing is for a 128GB model, but we don’t recognize if LG is offering cheaper models with less storage (if 128GB is indeed legitimate). It would make for a steep price enlarge over the base LG G7 ThinQ model if this is the entry-level G8 though. Last year’s model started at $750, albeit for the 64GB version.
So what do we identify about the LG G8 ThinQ? Well, the company has previously confirmed that the phone will pack a front-facing 3D ToF camera. The technology is said to be quicker and more accurate than planned light solutions, as seen on Apple, Oppo and Huawei flagships. This opens the entrance for improved face unlock tech, as well as better increased reality and beauty effects. LG has also teased a touchless interface for an upcoming phone, so it’s possible the company is using the 3D ToF camera to deliver this technology.
Other rumored LG G8 ThinQ specs contain a Snapdragon 855 chipset, dual-rear camera system, and a rear fingerprint scanner. We’ll require to wait for the launch to confirm all the details — hopefully LG keeps the headphone jack, quad DAC hardware, and IP68 rating.
