Google Pixel 4 on Android Q will have enhanced Dual SIM utility

It’s not too early for leaks and rumors about the next-gen Pixel smartphone. We’re all ears about the Pixel 4 because it’s from Google. The phone series isn’t just a bestseller but it introduces new technology and improvement. The latest models that will be released in the last quarter of 2019 are said to have enhanced dual SIM functionality. Google isn’t anticipated to make a declaration on the topic but we look forward to teasers. The information was discovered earlier to a piece of evidence for the Google Pixel 3 Lite.

And so there may be a Pixel 3 Lite. One variant could be the Pixel 3a XL or Pixel 3 Lite XL or just plain Pixel 3 Lite. The phones are rumored to be launched by Google on Verizon.

The Pixel 4 will run on Android Q. That is impressive we can be confident about because it’s been a tradition. The improved dual SIM functionality is somehow predictable because it’s the next obvious move.

An Android Open Source Project Gerrit commits present some ethics in the framework and Telephony service that can tell if a phone offers multi-SIM support. The 2019 Pixel is mentioned as having dual SIM functionality. It’s not just the usual double SIM function because this one will permit both the eSIM and physical SIM work at the same time.

Simply put, this change will permit Dual SIM, Dual Standby (DSDS)– both SIMs active can work at the same time. By work, it means, the two can obtain SMS and calls. They can be both active and this function will be accessible in Android Q.
